What scammers can teach ALL of Us

When it comes to authors and entrepreneurs, there’s one thing that scammers can teach us all: the art of sales.

Scammers have a knack for getting what they want with little effort or cost. They can find new ways of promoting their work and products, while at the same time keeping expenses to a minimum. This kind of resourcefulness is something we should all strive for in our own businesses.

But here is what infuriates me when it comes to you, the expert, versus the scammer: they know what they are selling is a lie. They know they are not the expert. They know what they offer has no value or has not been proven. What infuriates me is when YOU, the expert, second guess yourself; wait until everything is “flawless;” or you readily through in the towel because your lack of success must be a sign that you don’t have what it takes to be successful.

Hogwash!

There you are, with your expertise, and you are allowing fear and self-doubt to derail your success. You are closing the door before you have really given yourself the chance to walk into your greatness.

One of the main qualities of successful entrepreneurs and authors is their ability to think outside the box. Scammers excel in this regard – always searching for innovative ways to take advantage of people or circumstances without breaking any laws (at least initially). The same thinking can be applied when creating services or products for legitimate and legal purposes (online the scammers).
