The specific services, deliverables, timelines, and fees applicable to your project will be set out in a separate service agreement, proposal, or invoice provided to you. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the service agreement will govern.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion, including where a project falls outside the scope of our expertise or conflicts with our standards or values.

Quotes, Fees, and Payment

Fees for our services are described in the applicable proposal, service agreement, or invoice. Unless otherwise stated in writing, quoted fees are valid for a limited period and may be subject to change. Payment terms, including deposits, installment schedules, and final balances, will be specified in your service agreement or invoice.

Work may not commence, and deliverables may not be released, until applicable payments have been received. Late or missed payments may result in suspension of work, delays, or additional fees as described in your service agreement.

Refunds and Cancellations

Because our services involve customized, time-intensive professional work, refund and cancellation terms are set out in your individual service agreement. Deposits and fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable. If you wish to cancel or pause a project, please contact us, and we will address your request in accordance with the terms of your agreement.

Client Responsibilities

To deliver our services effectively, we rely on your timely cooperation. You agree to provide accurate information, materials, and feedback within agreed timeframes, and to respond to requests for approvals or revisions promptly. Delays in providing required materials or approvals may affect project timelines and delivery. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you provide to us is accurate and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Intellectual Property and Ownership

You retain ownership of the original content, manuscripts, and materials you provide to us, and of the final published work, except as otherwise set out in your service agreement. Upon full payment, rights in the final deliverables we create for you will transfer or be licensed to you as described in your service agreement.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit, and that such content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from content you provide.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we retain the right to reference completed projects in our portfolio, marketing, and promotional materials. If you prefer your project remain confidential, please notify us in writing.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Fruition Publishing Concierge Services® and Published! Magazine® names and marks, is owned by or licensed to Alesha Brown, LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws.
